Greensboro, NC -- Getting the turkey in the oven is the easy part, but then you have to carve it! Chef Barry stopped by the Good Morning show to share some tips to help you through the process:
-Use a sharp knife
-Be careful handling hot turkey
-Carve the breast first
-Break off the wings and legs
Of course you need something to drink with all the food, here's two simple recipes from Chef Barry:
Revah Pomegranate Wine Spritzer
Ingredients:
1 cup Sprite
1 cup Pomegranate wine
Combine Sprite with Pomegranate wine, chill and serve.
Revah Sangria
Ingredients:
1 bottle Revah Pomegranate wine
5 cups orange juice
5 cups Sprite
1 cup peach brandy
1 orange sliced and 1 pomegranate seeded (optional)
Combine ingredients, chill and serve.
