Advance, NC -- Ezra and Nancy Gough are busy in their fields this time of year.  The pair are busy at work harvesting muscadine and scuppernong grapes.

The duo run E&N Vineyards and use the grapes to make juice, cider, jams, and jellies.  Their brand Southern Jewel.  Ezra explains how the two came up with the name "When I got to thinking what would we call our little business I think of southern jewels, because muscadines are native to the south and when I see them on the vine they just look like jewels that are ready to be picked".

All of the products are alcohol free and can be purchased throughout the triad area.  They have even shipped products as far away as Louisiana, and Arkansas.
