Suspected Reidsville Bank Robber Held On $1 Million Bond

Reidsville, NC -- Reidsville police arrested a man suspected of robbing the BB&T branch on South Main Street.

Investigators said the 34-year-old Victor Withers entered the bank around 2:20pm Thursday.  He handed the teller a note and demanded money.  He got an undisclosed amount of cash and ran off.

Withers was arrested Thursday night near Williams Motel on Freeway Drive. 

He is being held in the Rockingham County Jail on $1 million secured bond.  He has a court date set for December 28.
