Clinton-- A store owner is in trouble with police after being accused of selling fake urine for people to use during drug tests.

Wednesday, Police told WRAL-TV that they charged a Sampson County store owner with selling fake urine, as well as prescription drugs.

Detectives said an anonymous tip started their two-month investigation of the store. Officers executed a search warrant at the store last week.

After the investigation, police charged Musa Odeh, 39, with: Defrauding Drug and Alcohol Screen Tests, Dispensing Medication without a License, Sale of Glass Tubes by a Retailer and Manufacturing or Delivering Drug Paraphernalia.

Sgt. Anthony Davis, of the Clinton Police Department, said during the search officers found 13 glass tubes commonly used for smoking crack cocaine under the counter. Officers also found and confiscated antibiotics and other prescription drugs from Latin America.

According to a website that sells kits to flush drug toxins from your body, synthetic urine is banned in North and South Carolina and in at least six other states.

According to information obtained by WRAL, Odeh and his brother operated the Happy Mart Tobacco Shop, on Northeast Blvd. in Clinton.

Odeh refused to talk with WRAL about the charges, however his brother told the station that Odeh is innocent of all of the charges.  He claimed a company in California shipped the fake urine to the store by mistake. He also said the product was never sold to customers, and the prescription drugs found, belonged to relatives visiting from Honduras and weren't for sale.

Happy Mart is still open for business, according to WRAL.
