Greensboro Coliseum Concerts Set Crowd Record Last Weekend

Greensboro, NC-- Officials with the Greensboro Coliseum Complex said they hosted the largest crowd to date for each of three separate concert tours in hosting back-to-back-to-back shows over the weekend.

On Friday, Diamond Life Concerts brought New Edition's 30th anniversary reunion tour to Greensboro, drawing 7,646 fans. 

Saturday night, country music sensation Eric Church's "Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour," with special guest Brantley Gilbert, for a packed house of 15,458.

The busy weekend wrapped up with Police Productions bringing another hot country music tour - Miranda Lambert with special guests Chris Young and Jerrod Niemann - to Greensboro.

Sunday night, despite inclement weather, 9,869 fans braved the cold and snow to see Miranda Lambert with special guests Chris Young and Jerrod Niemann. A performance that drew rave reviews.

Each of the three concerts drew the largest crowd to date for the current leg of its respective tour.

Managers of the Greensboro Coliseum said they will continue to bring the biggest names in music to Greensboro.  

Upcoming concerts include: Trey Songz with special guest Big Sean (March 4), Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band (March 19), Daughtry (April 7), Red Hot Chili Peppers (April 9), Merle Haggard (April 14) and Van Halen with special guest Kool & The Gang (April 21).
