Greensboro, NC -- After police solved the 16-year cold case of Jonesville Police Sergeant Greg Martin, we wondered what is usually the tipping point in closing cold cases?

Private investigator Ed Cobbler joined Frank Mickens and gave some insight into what kinds of things that can happen to help break a cold case. He says new information can come from new neighborhood canvasses or if the suspect goes to jail on a lesser charge, or by sharing their story in prison and having someone else turn on them.
