Greensboro, NC-- People being treated for Cancer in the Triad have bigger place to go in Greensboro.
Sunday, Cone Health held an open house for its expanded Cancer Center at Wesley Long Hospital.
With a unique blend of art and science, the center has an additional 20,00 square feet, including renovations to 16,000 square feet of the current center's space. Patients and supporters will notice a bigger waiting room and a more private chemotherapy area.
The cancer center boasts two of the world's most advanced radiation system used ot treat cancer patients, TomoTherapy and TruBeam STx.

Hospital officials said area residents contributed $5 million of the $15 million to pay for the expansion.
