Graham Middle School Teachers Win Grant Money

Graham, NC -- Six Graham Middle School teachers won grant money to fund projects through in 2011. They are among 200 central North Carolina teachers that have received donations totaling more than $119,000.

Dayson Pasion, Linda Kroger, Teresa Grubbs, Dale Cryan, Rachel Clark and Maryanne Ross are all Graham Middle School teachers who submitted grant proposals through Horace Mann's Classroom Project Facebook page.

Founded in 2000, is a nonprofit website where public and charter school teachers can submit proposals for books, art, tech, sport supplies and other resources, while donors can choose the projects they want to support. Close to 160,000 public and charter school teachers have secured funding for $71 million in teaching materials that have supported 3.9 million students.
