Sheriff: Two Teens In Custody For November Break-Ins In Madison, SW Rockingham County

Rockingham, NC -- Deputies with the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office arrested two teens on Wednesday who were responsible for several car thefts in the county in November, 2011.

Joseph Gene Haswell, 19, and Jose Alfredo Guerrero, 18, both of Angell Road in Madison, were arrested and charged with the break-ins that have plagued the Gold Hill Rd. area of Madison and Southwestern part of Rockingham County since November 2011.

Haswell was charged with 30 counts of felonious breaking and entering a motor vehicle, one count of felonious larceny, 8 counts of misdemeanor larceny and one count of attempted misdemeanor larceny.

Haswell is being held in the Rockingham County Jail under a $80,000 secured bond.

Guerrero was charged  with two counts of breaking and entering into a dwelling, one count of felonious larceny and one count of misdemeanor larceny in connection with two break-ins and thefts on Angell Road in Madison.

Guerrero is currently in the Guilford County Jail.
