Wentworth, NC -- Rockingham Sheriff's detectives arrested two men in connection with a number of break-ins and thefts in the Madison, Mayodan, and Stoneville areas of Rockingham County.
Justin Wayne Adkins, 23, and Kenneth "Scott" Middleton, 34, were arrested October 16, 2012 and are thought to be responsible for the following thefts reported in Rockingham County:
- 133 Eden Church Rd. Madison, NC
- 895 Smith Rd. Stoneville, NC
- 115 Brewer Rd. Mayodan, NC
- 5964 US 220 Business Stoneville, NC
- 996 Smith Rd. Stoneville, NC
Most of the items reported stolen from these residence were recovered and returned to the victims of these break-ins by the Detectives Smith and Perkins.
Additional charges are anticipated as this investigation continues to unfold.
Kenneth Scott Middleton of 402 South 6th Ave. Mayodan, NC was charged with 5 counts of Breaking and Entering, 5 counts of Larceny after Breaking and Entering and 5 counts of Possession of Stolen Goods. He was placed in the Rockingham County Jail under a
$20,000 secured bond.
Justin Wayne Adkins of 107 West Washington St. Mayodan, NC has been charged with 4 counts of Breaking and Entering, 4 counts of Larceny after Breaking and Entering and 4 counts of Possession of Stolen Goods. He was placed in the Rockingham County Jail
under a $10,000 secured bond.
Both Middleton and Adkins are scheduled to appear in court on October 17th.
