Moorhead, MN-- How about that for a tip?
A waitress in Minnesota probably feel like she has won the lottery. In November Stacy Knutson, a Waitress at Fryn' Pan said she found $12,000 in a to-go box.
Police suspected the money was drug money. But a judge sided with Knutson and ruled that she can keep the money.
Stacey Knutson, who has worked at the Fryn' Pan in Moorhead for more than 18 years, talked to KVLY-TV in Fargo, N.D., after learning her good news.
She said she's happy and still a bit shocked she has the money, adding it's money her family was in need of.
Knutson told KVLY she called police right after finding the money and said she thinks some people would have done the same.
Knutson recently fractured her foot and knee, and had been praying for some relief for her medical bills.
She said she wishes she could take her family on vacation but says the money will be used to pay bills... and perhaps part of a down payment for a house.
