Greensboro, NC - Dozens of restaurants in the Piedmont topped the charts this week with their sanitation grades. There were also some restaurants where inspectors found problems.

On the bottom of the list this week in Guilford County was Kobe of Japan, located at 1216-F Bridford Parkway in Greensboro. It earned a 90.5.
An inspector reported seeing an employee wash their hands in a vegetable prep sink and egg rolls that were being prepared on a box in front of the chemical storage area instead of on the food prep table.

Inspectors found problems at several restaurants in Forsyth County.
New Dragon Palace Express at 1020-G South Main Street in Kernersville scored a 90.5.
An inspector found cheese wontons that were stored in grocery bags, egg rolls stored in paper towels and sweet and sour chicken stored on top of menus. The inspector also reported seeing cockroaches in the kitchen.
Lin's Kitchen at 523 Nelson Street in Kernersville earned a 90.
An inspector reportedly found cockroaches and food was left uncovered from the night before.
The restaurant some folks know as Big Mama's at Acadia Grill, 200 West Acadia Avenue in Winston-Salem, earned an 88.5.
According to the inspection report, the baked chicken and stuffed cabbage were not reheated to safe temperatures. Additionally, the food thermometers weren't calibrated properly.
Bonsai Japanese Restaurant at 4614 Yadkinville Road in Pfafftown earned an 88.
An inspector reported seeing an employee taste food with a gloved hand, move around the trash can, then begin preparing food without washing their hands.

Bojangles at 18073 South NC Highway 109 in Denton earned an 88.5.
An inspector found a dirty towel sitting on the biscuit prep table and sausage and chicken weren't being stored at safe temperatures.
Panda Panda at 416 Piedmont Drive in Lexington earned a 91.
The inspector found a container of chicken covered with a trash bag, which was corrected during the inspection. However, he plans to go back to make sure they have repaired a leak in the ceiling.
