Stanford, CA (Sports Network) - Aaron Bright scored 16 points as the Stanford
Cardinal made easy work of the Arizona State Sun Devils 68-44 in Pac-12 action
at Maples Pavilion.
Chasson Randle added 14 points for Stanford (16-6, 6-4 Pac-12) and Anthony
Brown chipped in with 11. The win for the Cardinal halts a three-game losing
streak.
For Arizona State (7-15, 3-7), Jordan Bachynski led all scorers with 20
points. The Sun Devils have lost five out of six.
Both teams shot less than 33 percent in the first half, but Stanford was able
to take a 28-20 lead into the locker room thanks to shooting nearly double the
amount of shots as Arizona State. The Cardinal shot 11-of-34 from the floor in
the frame while the Sun Devils made just 5-of-18.
Stanford's field goal percentage improved to 61.5 percent after the break as
the Cardinal cruised to victory.
Arizona State committed more turnovers (14) than field goals made (13).
